Privacy Policy
Effective date: 1 June 2026. This policy explains what data Clickfyre Ping collects, how it is used, and how long it is kept. We have written it to be short and plain, not to obscure anything.
Who we are
Clickfyre Ping is a push-notification delivery service operated by Uconomix Technologies LLP. The service lets you send notifications to your own devices via a single HTTP request. There are no user accounts and no sign-up, using only an anonymous device key.
What we collect
We collect the minimum data required to deliver notifications and keep the service running reliably.
Notification content you submit. When you call the API, we receive and store the parameters you send: the notification title, body text, icon URL, and tags. This content is associated with your device key (an anonymous UUID) and is retained for 30 days, after which it is permanently deleted.
Server logs. Every API request generates a standard server log entry containing your IP address and a timestamp. These logs are used solely for abuse prevention and service reliability. They are not linked to any personal identity.
Device key. Your device key is a randomly generated UUID created on your device. It is not linked to your name, email address, or any other identifying information. We never ask for it.
What we do not collect
- No name, email address, or any personally identifiable information
- No cookies, tracking pixels, or fingerprinting scripts
- No analytics or behavioural tracking of any kind
- No location data
- No payment information (the service is free)
How we use what we collect
- Delivering notifications: your submitted content is used solely to push the notification to your device via your device key.
- Abuse prevention: IP addresses in server logs allow us to detect and block misuse of the quota system.
- Service reliability: timestamps and error states help us diagnose outages and fix bugs.
We do not use any collected data for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose beyond operating the service.
Data retention
Notification content (title, body, icon URL, tags) is stored for 30 days from the time of the API call and then permanently deleted.
Server logs (IP address and timestamp) are retained for up to 30 days for abuse prevention and then deleted.
You can also delete your data at any time from within the app. Using Clear All immediately and permanently removes all your stored notifications from our database. Using Delete Account immediately removes your anonymous device key and all associated notifications from our database. No waiting, no delay.
Third-party sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes. Data may be disclosed only in the following limited circumstances:
- Legal obligation: if required by applicable law, court order, or government authority.
- Service infrastructure: hosting providers that process data on our behalf under confidentiality agreements. They are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.
Your rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have the following rights regarding the data we hold:
- Right to know: you may ask what data is associated with your device key.
- Right to erasure: you may request early deletion of data associated with your device key before the 30-day retention period expires.
- Right to object: you may object to any processing we carry out beyond service delivery.
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act), you have the rights to access, correct, and erase your personal data, and to raise a grievance with us or the Data Protection Board of India.
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), if you are located in the European Economic Area, you additionally have the right to data portability, the right to restrict processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Because we collect no personally identifiable information and device keys are anonymous, most requests will be fulfilled by confirming there is no personal data on record for you. To exercise any right, contact us at [email protected].
Children's privacy
Clickfyre Ping is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has used the service in a way that has resulted in data collection, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of Clickfyre Ping after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
